Pere Marquette fishing report -steelhead- Nov 21st

The Pere Marquette River is super low. That is a technical term. The upper and middle river sections are crystal clear and fishing is very tough. Fishing in the lower river is also tough, but there are steelhead around, you just have to know where to be and put in the time. Len was up over the weekend and paid his dues and managed to swing up some steel on the two hander. Steve and Kevin were out on a scouting mission on Friday and put some fish in the boat. Kevin’s “nothing tube fly” has been the top producer. We’ll have a complete write up on this pattern later in the week. Black and pink and black and orange were the two hot colors.
