Water crested over 1200cfs at Scottville this weekend. The fly water and upper river has cleared nicely but is still high. Expect the lower river to clear over the next several days if we don’t get too much more rain. Fishing was tough over the weekend with cold temps and snow on Friday but if you were in the right place throwing the right stuff the fish responded. Streamers seemed to be the ticket on Friday with egg patterns and nymphs producing on Saturday. Brad and Don were up from Cleveland and fished hard with me and earned a nice steelhead and a nice brown on a beautiful bluebird Saturday.
