Salmon continue to move through the lower river in great numbers. We had good biters yesterday fishing Thundersticks hooking maybe 10 fish in 4 or 5 hours. We landed two 20lb+ fish and one small male. So they aren’t ALL huge this year.
Salmon can be found from the mouth to the fly water in very good numbers. We will reiterate: this is one of the best king salmon runs on the Pere Marquette River that anyone can remember. We have a couple great guide dates still available for September and October if you’re looking to come and enjoy huge numbers of huge fish.
