- Steelhead fishing has been very good here on the Pere Marquette River. Went three for four yesterday in about 4 hours on hex nymphs and swung streamers. There is also, oddly enough, an unprecedented number of cohos in the river right now. With Indigo’s March Madness sale, it’s a good time to book a trip.
