In other news, Eric and Bob were up on Saturday and got the Pere Marquette Grand Slam: a nice pike, a king salmon, a coho salmon, and a steelhead. We missed the Super Slam by one brown trout. Next time guys. It was an awesome day of fishing. There are good numbers of steelhead in the lower river and they are hot. We hooked four in about an hour and only got one to the boat. We were also lucky enough to get into a wad of aggressive, colored up coho. Those fish are fun.
