Kevin sends along a gob of salmon pictures from the past few days. The lower river is still seeing some fresh fish moving through, but they are rocketing upstream and while Kevin’s been getting into a couple, it’s a tough bite. There are good numbers of fish on gravels and some new fish in the holes in the middle and upper river. While there are good numbers of fish in the river right now, this might be the worst salmon run in recent memory, or is it just late? The next few weeks will tell. The river is very low and crystal clear and not too many steelhead around yet. We need some rain.
