As I hinted at a while back, we recently hit the river with Gabe Hillebrand of Hill Brand Tackle and Matt Straw to throw some of Gabe’s jig streamers for winter steelhead. I can say that working a beautifully hand-tied jig is as close to swinging streamers as you can come without actually using a fly rod.
