As part of the Pure Michigan campaign, Kevin was invited to head down to Grand Rapids and do a very short spot on fly fishing in Michigan for Fox 17. While Kevin has been in front of a lot of cameras over the years this was his first time being live in the studio. He said it is much more comfortable having the cameras on the water in his home element.
They let Kevin and his family sit in the studio before Kevin appeared. Seven year old Aaliyah was most impressed that the weather man could be standing in front of a green screen doing the show, then have weather graphics behind him when she looked at the monitor.
