Kevin had a good day yesterday. Ten mile float with a friend. Perfect spring weather. One other boat all day. Brats on the grill with beer steamed onions and Koop’s Arizona Heat mustard. No biting bugs. Great conversation. Plenty of steelhead. Successful new fly pattern…which we can only hope Kevin will make public in these pages soon. I suspect it’s the tiny purple fly in the big steelhead’s mouth, but I’m not sure.
