Coming from a guy that likes winter, I am now absolutely ready for spring. This winter is like having a cold that just won’t go away, it is now almost April and we still have this nagging snow and cold.
Last week this winter virus struck back hard. I guessed that we got around a foot of snow while we were on the river and not just snow, we also had plenty of cold and high winds. We actually fished all day in a blizzared and somehow even managed to catch a few steelhead.
We all agreed that it was beautiful out. Though we also agreed that it would have been more beautiful looking at the scene through a picture window sipping a warm drink and standing by an even warmer fireplace.
