Sometimes you hook a steelhead and you fight the steelhead and you net the steelhead and click click you take pictures of the steelhead and it’s off to another fish with a smile on your face. But then there are days when you hook five of the meanest, snarly-ass could care less fish in the river. They send you home with busted tippet and a bittersweet feeling of defeat in the pit of your stomach and all you have left is a somewhat ironic picture of your boat and the resolve to get back out and do it all again tomorrow.
