Steve was out last Friday stripping streamers for browns on the upper Pere Marquette River. The river was low and clear. They turned quite a few and landed seven. All were healthy, fat and wild. A #6 olive Zonkora was the most productive fly. Steve reports some sporadic black stone fly activity, but no risers.
