- Our April fools joke from last year was apparently still generating LOLs in mid-September. Yep, I said “generating LOLs.”
- The fishing here on the Pere Marquette is on fire. There are gobs of very fresh king salmon around and there are officially gobs of steelhead too, just need to find them. Kevin’s boat went 5 for 16 yesterday on steelhead fishing beads. And there was only one person fishing! Steve hooked a coho on a popper yesterday. ON A POPPER. Indigo Guide Service has a couple openings for this coming week if you’re looking to book a trip.

- Do you see what you’ve created Cameron? You’ve created a monster. Kevin is in a tight race with Jason Tucker of Fontinalis Rising for the TFM spotting contest for September. Jason seems like a nice guy. He’s a fellow Michigan angler. It’s a shame Kevin had to come up against him in September. But the TFM spotting contest is WAR people. WAR.
