Well… the salmon are here and if you put your time in, cover a lot of water and be patient, you will hook fish. The kings are starting to gravel up and the normal spawning areas have fish, the sections below Walhalla are holding fish for a short time with most salmon on the move.
Reports today from the river mouth were that fish have been moving through most of the day… so things should start to pick up. ThunderSticks are producing fish with fire tiger the most productive. Stripping bright streamers at first light has been producing some exiting strikes and egg nymph combos dredged through deep holding water have been working as well.
