The fishing was very good for the first half of last week but then slid down to ok for the weekend. Probably the combination of declining and clearing water with a colder weather system that moved into the area.
Steve said he’s been doing well on stoneflies while everything in my net has been on eggs. Though I’ll have to fess up that I haven’t been giving them many other options.
I’m expecting fishing to improve with warmer weather that will not only warm the water but add some more run off to the river.
