Steelheading on the PM River has been ok, with some days even good. There are more fish in holes than gravel but that is likely to change with the next warm-up. My boat has done best on eggs, with Steve reporting that all of their steelhead today were on black stoneflies.
Water temps are in the high 30’s and there is nice color.
There is no question that the best fishing of the year is just around the corner.
