Everyone wants to know what my best salmon fly has been. As if the answer to this question will set them on the path to boat loads of fish. While I think a good fly is important, a perfect presentation with a quite approach, in my opinion, is the key to success.
But to answer this question, I would have to say it has been my daughters Salmon Candy fly that she was tying last year. I guess sometimes simple is better. Does the Salmon Candy look like a bug or an egg, I don’t know, probably both.
