Steve’s fly box
Steve’s been busy tying flies. He’s been particularly interested in trying to imitate the translucence and durable spherical shape of a bead in a tied fly. Steve says this egg looks fantastic in the water. Maybe we can get some instructions from him for tying up some of these eggs. And maybe, more importantly, we can help him field test them on the river?

Pere Marquette fishing report -Nov 27th
Our crew hasn’t been on the water much over the past week or so with Steve in the woods hunting deer and Kevin and Matt visiting family for the holidays. But fishing has been good when we’ve gotten out. The streamer bite has improved with big and flashy patterns producing well. Here’s a picture of Steve’s daughter Marissa doing a little cast and blast with her dad. They did better on the cast than the blast.
