We had a great time at the Indianapolis fly show this weekend. Got to see a lot of old friends and we made some new ones. Gave out some Third Coast Fly stickers too. We’ll have more info about those later this week.
For now, here’s a report from Steve’s trips last week. Swung streamers in black, olive and brown are working well on heavy sink tips, at least 10′ of T14 for the lower river, and the egg with nymph dropper rig is producing too. For the spinning rod, Hot ‘N’ Tots in gold and orange are also producing. All the ramps were open last week, but we got a good bit of snow over the weekend in Ludington and the river mouth is freezing up so stay tuned for a more up to date report later in the week.
