I’ve had a good past week fishing with Steve and Joe, Mike and Dave, and Randy and Alex and Jane. The salmon run is starting to taper off and while there are still good numbers of fish in the river, they shouldn’t last more than another week or so. Stripping small, natural streamers on the go has also produced a few average trout and turned a couple nicer ones. I need to get out and fish those hard. And there’s a little TFM spotting thrown in for good measure.
We’re out to scout for steelhead today in the lower river. Wish us luck.
