- Keith Barton of Singlebarbed laments the state of fly fishing writing. He writes: “I welcome each new entrant into my reading itinerary, there’s plenty of lunch hours and ample time to digest each attentively, but I’m still unsatisfied, struggling with what’s missing and it may be nothing at all.” That’s depressing, but probably true. There probably just isn’t anything that will make everyone happy forever though we always yearn for such a thing and believe it’s out there. Though Keith himself is such a good writer with such a unique voice that I’d be happy if more fly fishing writing was like his.
- Cool underwater pike vid posted over at Pike Fly Fishing. I’m probably on the lower river as you read this hoping to hook into a few pike and, lord help me, an early salmon.
